Welcome to Vienna’s first Chocolate Museum, located right at the production site of the traditional Confiserie Heindl in Vienna’s 23rd district. Since 2001, the HEINDL SchokoMuseum has been a sweet highlight for visitors from Austria and abroad.
Enjoy delicious tastings of freshly made Heindl pralines and crispy Pischinger wafer specialties, straight from production. A true paradise for all chocolate lovers, from little sweet tooths to grown-up chocoholics. Discover the fascinating journey from cocoa bean to fine chocolate: explore the museum at your own pace, join an informative guided tour, or take part in our hands-on praline workshops for children, families, and adults. Highlights include our flowing chocolate fountains, a ChocoQuiz with our mascot SchokoTiger Theo, and the SchokoKino (chocolate cinema).

Children’s birthday parties in the SchokoMuseum: We offer individual children’s birthday parties for all those little sweet tooths and chocolate tigers who want to celebrate a particularly sweet birthday! You can choose between different packages and spend a great and chocolaty time together.

Ein bezaubender, informativer und vor allem süßer Ort. Die Familie Heindl lebt für Schokolade und vermittelt es mit Information und vielen Kostproben, es gibt Workshops wo man selbst aktiv werden kann. Bei der Produktion bekommt man Einblick wie vieles noch händisch abläuf. lEin Besuch ist eine absolut süße Freude.

04/06/2024Klein aber fein, Wir fanden es toll. Es gab 7 Möglichkeiten zu kosten. Interessant und informativ und es gibt eigentlich genug zu kosten. Unter der Woche ist es angenehm ruhig und wenig los.

30/04/2025Schönes Museum mit netter Führung durch die Produktion (leider gerade Sommerpause) und viele Kostproben aus dem Hause Heindl. Film zur Firma und Infos über Kakao, Geschichte usw. War kurzweilig und interessant.

26/07/2020Kleines, schön gestaltetes Museum. Hier erfährt man die Geschichte der Schokolade, kann verkosten und ein bisschen die Produktionshalle durch Glasscheiben entdecken. Kindergeburtstagsparty und Workshops für Erwachsene möglich. Anschließend kann noch der Shop besucht werden.

Nicht zu groß, gemütliche Runde mit den Kids und gratis Schokolade! War positiv überrascht, es gibt auch Führungen, jedoch nur zu fixen Zeiten und Tagen. Jedenfalls sehr nettes Personal, informative Inhalte und die Schokolade ist lecker!
