Whether it’s a project day, a week in Vienna, or a special excursion – the HEINDL SchokoMuseum is always worth a visit!
At our chocolate museum in Vienna, located directly at the production site and headquarters of Confiserie Heindl, we offer tailor-made guided tours with plenty of tastings as well as a variety of chocolate praline workshops for school classes, kindergarten groups, and after-school programs of all ages. Vocational schools, apprentices, and international student groups also enjoy exploring our “sweet world of chocolate” here in the south of Vienna.
Depending on the school type, curriculum, or specific interests, we are happy to adapt the focus of the tour to match your needs.

Workshop 1: PRALINES & SCHOKO (liquid chocolate)
(recommended from ~7 years)
Using the finest nougat and marzipan, children create their own pralines, dip them in warm, liquid chocolate, and decorate them with colorful sprinkles, nuts, or coconut flakes.
Workshop 2: PISCHINGER TORTE
(recommended from ~5 years)
Fans of the traditional Pischinger Cake take note: we spread hazelnut cream on fresh, crispy “Oblaten” wafers, cover them with liquid chocolate, and finish them with nut brittle and colorful sprinkles of your choice.
Workshop 3: SCHOKOKUGELN
(recommended from ~3 years)
This workshop is perfect for all budding artists – or those who want to become one! Sweet pralines are shaped from nougat and marzipan and then decorated creatively with colorful toppings.

Each group receives free admission for two teachers or adult supervisors (adjusted according to group size).
Our conditions apply to groups of 15 or more participants aged 3 to 18 years. Flat rates for smaller groups are available upon request. Subject to change. Appointment booking required.
Due to seasonal reasons, production may occasionally pause. The SchokoMuseum, however, is not affected by production breaks and can be visited year-round without restrictions.
